OphthoGenie-Mockup
Our Story

OphthoGenie grew out of necessity when we were faced with preparing for our Oral Board Exam.

We found the existing review material to be limited, dated and ineffective for approaching this unique testing format. A lot of time was wasted stressing over the best way to study. To prepare, we devised a method for approaching the cases which helped us master the format of the exam. We also created a comprehensive library of testable cases. We used this early version of OphthoGenie to successfully pass our boards on our first attempt.

In the following years, we found our colleagues were similarly unsatisfied with the existing study material and we shared with them the early version of OphthoGenie. They all passed on their first attempt and credited their success to OphthoGenie. Recognizing the widespread need for a product like this, we decided to expand the content make it available to all ophthalmologists. We have designed a user-friendly, digital platform that provides you with the most realistic Oral Boards experience. Not to mention, OphthoGenie is the only resource of its kind to provide you with real time statistics of your performance so you can focus your studying efforts where you need them. By employing an expert panel of reviewers, we have verified our study material is accurate and clinically-relevant. We are continuously evolving and expanding our library to provide you with the most comprehensive and relevant material. We are confident OphthoGenie will give you the knowledge and confidence to study smarter and stress less for your Oral Board Exam.
